Freecell Klondike Solitaire mixes two of the best known solitaire games into one. You win by building all four foundations, found at the top right, each in one suit and starting from the Ace.
If you enjoy either classic, the hybrid feels familiar and a bit fresh at the same time. Building in the tableau follows the Klondike habit of alternating red and black. It is listed among our Solitaire games and works on computers and on phones.
Rules of the hybrid
Send the cards to the foundations one suit per pile, beginning with the Ace and climbing in order. In the tableau columns you stack downward, switching between red and black. Plan each move so a buried Ace or Two can be reached early, since the foundations can only grow from the bottom up.
Solitaire tips
- Look at the whole tableau before the first move and note where the Aces sit.
- Low cards belong on the foundations early, so chase the Aces and Twos.
- Plan a sequence of moves before you start moving cards around.
